Internet Security Controller 1.0

If you're concerned your child spend too much time when you're away from home on websites such as YouTube or Facebook, and you would like to use a time-limiting software to set the time of day when they can use those websites (or for how long), Internet Security Controller is what you're going to like. This program is very easy to configure, it's free and can be also used to restrict the time spent by employees or any other person on a specified computer. Let's see how we use it.

First of all, we will have to specify the websites which we want to block or time-limit. Most social websites are already added by default but you can manually add any other if needed. To do so, just enter a website into the text box and click the 'Add' button. If you want to remove a website, just use the 'Del' button. When you're done, hit the 'Next' button. Then, we will have to choose the time-frame that we're going to limit for each day of the week. Green means allow, red means block. Set the time-frame for each day of the week and click next.

At the next step, we will have to set the daily time limit for each day of the week. For instance, you may want to allow you child to use a social website during weekends for longer time. When you're done, set a password to secure the program settings and a password hint to help you remember the password and we're done - just hit the 'Finish' button. After this, if someone attempts to access a blocked website, a pop-up message will inform them that the access to that website is blocked. In the future, if you want to change anything in the program settings, you will have to enter the password.
